Michael E. Kinder [email protected]
Michael left the family business in 1998 to start KinderCo, Inc. to service only
the insurance, transportation and heavy equipment industries. At KinderCo,
Michael and his staff offer complete adjusting and appraisal services, as well
as cargo losses. KinderCo also does TPA services.
Michael is a member
of the National Truck and Heavy Equipment Claims Council since 1983. He has
served as the Secretary of the NTHECC on two occasions, and was also Secretary
of the Towing Committee of the National Truck and Heavy Equipment Claims
Council. Michael also has served and currently serves on several committees in
order to better the organization. Currently Chairman of NTHECC Academy committee
bring new young blood into the industry.
Michael and Joanie are the
proud parents of their son, James an Eagle Boy Scout. Michael was an Assistant
Boy Scout Leader for the local Boy Scout troop, and enjoys Skeet / Trap /
Sporting Clay shooting, bird hunting and fishing. Michael is a proud member of
Millersville Lodge # 126 of the Free and Accepted Masons, and was Worshipful
Master of the Millersville Lodge for 2002. Served as a Trustee of the
Millersville Lodge Temple. As well on several committees.

Joanie Kinder [email protected]
Joan
graduated from University of Evansville with Bachelor's Degrees in Marketing and
Finance, and is Chief Financial Officer for KinderCo. She worked in Retail
Merchandising as a Buyer for William H. Blocks an Indianapolis department store
chain for 9 years prior to their purchase by Federated Dry Goods (Lazarus
Department Stores), and then managed and bought for a smaller specialty store in
Zionsville, Indiana until she purchased the 32-employee company in 1988.
After
marrying Michael in 1990, the decision to raise a family became the new priority
having their son, James, in 1991. In 1995, she accepted a position with a
health insurance TPA as the Executive Coordinator to the President and CEO
tracking production, profits and projecting claims from the Team Vice Presidents
and coordinating information for monthly monitoring.
She and Michael
started KinderCo, Inc. in 1998. She was Den Mother for their sons Cub Scout den
from Tiger through Webelo II, and shuttled him from Troop meetings and outings
through his Tenderfoot to his level of Life Scout and helped as he reached his
goal of Eagle in 2008. She became an avid ice Hockey fan driving James, a
member of the Carmel High School Icehounds, to practices and games and kept warm
cheering him on! When James and Michael shoot skeet and trap, she has become
their trapper (puller). She stops at the actual hunting as the rule "you
kill it, you clean it, you eat it" was her idea. She does enjoy eating the
duck, pheasant, quail and goose they bring home and Michael so superbly cooks.
Just keeping up with James and Michael' calendar's is an organizational
challenge.
Joan is an Advanced Certified Master Gardener and enjoys
spending time working with several volunteer groups in Indianapolis and Carmel.
She and their son, James, were also Karate students. Joanie earned her Sho Don
Ho rank along with James. She is recently an NRA member and is enjoying
learning the sport of shooting.

James
Kinder graduated from Carmel High School in 2011.
After finishing high
school James attended Ivy Tech Community College taking several business classes
while working part time at several restaurants and auto tech companies. James
decided to officially work part time for KinderCo under the direct supervision
of Michael in the summer of 2013 following insurance company procedures,
learning to work with towing companies and body shops, and learning to interpret
insurance policies all supervised by Michael. James is currently a full time
employee of KinderCo still under the direct supervision of Michael Kinder.
James
joined the family business as a helper with office work in middle school doing
odd jobs and filing and has come to find a sincere interest after the winter of
2013.
James became an Eagle Scout in 2008, studied Karate reaching
the rank of Sho Don Ho, swam for his local summer swim team for 6 years, and
played for the Carmel High School IceHounds hockey team for 3 years. He
currently enjoys hunting, fishing, mountain biking, camping, and training for
Triathlon's and Half Marathons.
Over the summer of 2014 went to body
shops to see how trucks are repaired, going to trailer shops to see how they are
repaired, and spent time that summer at Great West Casualty to see how their
claim office works, and International Risk Placement to learn London procedures.
He also traveled to salvage yards to see their operations.
James
currently has been accepted to the National Truck & Heavy Equipment Claims
Council Apprentice Program and has attended several of their Continuing
Education Classes.

Ande Possman [email protected]
Ande
graduated from Indiana Academy High School in 1989. Before joining KinderCo in
1999, Ande worked for a local Ford dealership in the service department as a
service writer for two years. For the next six years, Ande worked for a local
adjusting firm, gaining invaluable experience handling liability, bodily injury,
cargo loss, and property damage claims, as well as auto appraisals.
Ande
joined KinderCo in 1999 and is an apprentice heavy-equipment claims adjuster and
appraiser. With his experience, Ande is a valuable asset to our company. In his
free time, Ande enjoys sprint car racing, golfing, and riding his
Harley-Davidson. Ande can often be seen on weekends at local sprint car tracks,
or on the golf course.
